Only a few more days remain for the Alstead’s Sestercentennial Art Show at the Shedd-Porter Library. This town-wide exhibit celebrates the talent and expression of Alstead artists, from emerging closet painters to established pros. It includes a section devoted to work of artists of the past, most notably, Marion Nicholl Rawson, artist, writer and historian. The show may be seen during library hours (Wednesdays, 11-5; Thursdays, 11-7; Fridays, 11-5; Saturdays, 9-noon) through August 1.
