This Week’s Farmers Market – 6/27/14

Good Morning, the rain this week, came early. Hopefully, the damage from the heavy rains was minimal.

But Friday’s forecast is simply perfect for a Farmers Market. This weekend also marks Walpole’s Old Home Days so our community is bursting with events and activities. The WFM is no exception. Come with your family, get a bite to eat, enjoy the music of Daniel Hartigan. There will be a variety of games and activities for young and young at heart. Aime, of Aime’s Art Farm, is planning on painting animal caricature on hands and ankles, she is charging $2.00 and will donate half of the proceeds to the WFM. Take a Farmer Trivia Challenge and then put a ticket in the FREE RAFFLE for WFM products donated by some of our vendors.

We have a great group of vendors this week. Roughly, sixteen vendors have said that they would be with us including Abenaki Springs, Brookfield Farm, Orchard Hill Breadworks, Iris X Lotions and Potions, Keri’s Kures, The Farmers Table, Flying Canvas Studio, Not Your Ordinary Farm, Walpole Valley Farms, Walpole Mountain View Winery, and McGill’s Maple Products (maple frappes maple frappes maple frappes).

If you have not had a chance to get to the market yet this summer, this would be a Friday not to be missed. We’d love to see everyone come out and support local farmers and producers. You can use your debit/credit/EBT card. EBT cardholders can take advantage of our Double Up on Veggie Bucks program.
