I’m passing along the following information about an event at Hastings Parish House that may be of interest to you. Thanks in advance to Tara and Jack. – Lil
In light of the recent events in Charleston, SC and the burning of black churches in the south, Tara Sad is planning a screening of the recent feature film SELMA, with commentary and discussion by Jack Pratt of Walpole. Jack was with Dr. Martin Luther King that day and also with him on his four other major marches during the fight for civil rights in the 1960s. The screening and discussion is scheduled for Saturday, July 25th at 6:00 p.m. at the Hastings Memorial Parish House in Walpole. Admission is free. Questions may directed to Tara at 603-756-4861.
