Please Help

Betty Prentiss sent along this request from the Walpole Cemetery Trustees.  Something we all tend to forget and yet compliance will make the work of the “grounds crew” so much easier.  Thanks, in advance. – Lil

All pots and decorations must be
removed from cemetery lots by
November 1 to facilitate fall
clean-up. Thank you.

Everyone who went last weekend to the Benefit Concert with Walcrik singers (Walpole’s own Tim Baucom and Andrew Morehouse) had such a great time! This Friday night enjoy *Mick Reed* at *Howell’s Studio* in Walpole courtesy of the *Walpole Artisan’s Cooperative*. *Come show your support for Parks Place Community Resource Center and the Walpole Artisan!*

*AMERICANA CONCERT TO BENEFIT PARKS PLACE*

    * Music, Silent auction and raffles*

*Walpole – *On *Friday, October 9th*, the Walpole Artisan Cooperative welcomes Mick Reed to Howell Studio in a concert to benefit Parks Place Community Resource Center. Parks Place is a “HUB” that provides members of the greater falls community a safe and accessible location to make lasting, positive changes in their lives. The Walpole Artisans aim to thank the community for their support by bringing lasting support to struggling families.

Mick Reed is a native New Englander whose music and lyrics are rooted in traditional Americana songs and storytelling. He blends elements of country, blues, jazz and bluegrass to form original tunes with a timeless feel. His first CD, “Courtney’s Farm”, features an all-star singer Madeleine Peyroux. His second album, “Goodnight, Teas”, was released in January 2011 and received glowing reviews. His third album, “Beaver Falls”, was released in 2014. Loudon Wainwright III recorded one of Mick’s tunes in the Spring of 2015 for a feature-length documentary. Mick regularly performs his music in New York and throughout New England, where he is a fixture on the roots circuit. In addition to his music, Mick produces and directs for television and film where he has earned many awards.

Music begins at 7:00 pm at Howell Studio, 250 Old Keene Road, Walpole. Refreshments will be provided. Admission is free but donations will benefit Parks Place Community Resource Center. Call 802-463-9927 for more information.
