GOT DRUGS??

The Walpole Police Department is again participating in National ‘Drug Take Back Day’ sponsored by the US Dept of Justice – Drug Enforcement Administration. This year we are providing two drop off locations – Saturday, April 29 from 10 AM to 2 PM: The Walpole Police Department at 4 Russell Street, North Walpole and at the Walpole Fire Station, 278 Main Street in Walpole.

Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue and can lead to accidental poisoning, overdose and abuse. Unused drugs should not be just thrown away where they can be retrieved and abused or illegally sold. Unused drugs that are flushed can contaminate the water supply. Proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment.
