The Walpole Friends of the Library are thrilled to share that this year’s Annual Book Sale was a tremendous success!
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised $6,355.00 in total proceeds. With 383 boxes of donated books—averaging about 30 books each—that means over 11,000 books were given new life!
This event would not have been possible without the dedication and generosity of our amazing volunteers and partners. We extend our heartfelt thanks to: Reuse and Wednesday sorting volunteers, The Bensons, Pinnacleview Equipment, Cold River Materials, Graves Trucking, Fall Mountain Student Council, Fall Mountain XC Ski Team, and Walpole School. Your time, equipment, muscle, and enthusiasm make this community tradition possible year after year.
The proceeds raised help the library offer new books, children’s programs, museum passes, guest speakers, and many other valuable resources that enrich our town.
Thank you to everyone who donated books, shopped the sale, spread the word, or lent a hand. Our library is stronger because of you.
