Could you please put in a reminder that the Walpole Historical Society is presenting their Cemetery Tour this Sunday, October 27th, at 3:00 pm.
As in years past, a number of notable not not-so-notable citizens from Walpole’s past will be visiting the cemetery to great visitors and talk about their lives. We’ll have The Kilburns, Col. Benjamin Bellows (with a number of his more colorful descendants), and representatives from the Hubbard, Sparhawk, Fay, Burt, Graves and Townsley families. The tour, led by our colorful Funeral Director, Bill Perron, will begin at the Walpole Middle School front lawn.
The tour involves some steep climbing, so wear comfortable shoes. The weather might be chilly or wet, so dress accordingly.
