Last night I was tossing and turning and had these funny thoughts filtering through my head.  (When I look back on the topic, I would have to assume that I was hungry.)  I started thinking about what I have begun to privately refer to as “The Ice Cream Wars” here in Walpole.  Which do you prefer Pepsi or Coke?  Which is more tasty, Walpole Scoop Shop flavors or, the soon to open, Walpole Creamery? 

My problem, like that of many other Walpoleans, boils down to the fact that I like ice cream. That means that, by the end of the summer, we will all be suffering from the “Battle of the Bulge”!
