- Roll Call – Designate Alternates;
- Approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of May 13, 2014, and Workshop Session on May 27, 2014.
Public Hearings:
- J.R. Development, LLC – Site Plan Review: Add a 2,030 square foot building to be used as cold dry storage behind the existing building. Town Tax Map #012, Lot # 055. This is in the Commercial Zoning District.
- Teragram Properties, LLC – Lot Line Adjustment: Adjust the boundary line between Lot #002 and Lot #003 and annex 1.56 acres of Lot #002 to Lot #003, creating a single continuous 4.0 acre lot of record (Lot #003 = 4.0 acres). Town Tax Map #024, Lots #002 and #003. This is in the Commercial Zoning District.

Regarding J.R. Development’s plan to expand what was formerly an antique shop next to Ocean State Job Lot: It’s shameful that the people of Walpole have no right to know what type of tenant is going into that space. The developer wants to put an addition in place that is larger than my house, but won’t disclose what that space will be used for other than “cold dry storage”. The people that have been developing the commercial district of late are absolute weasels; and the Planning Board has no teeth or methods of recourse when these developers come before them with their latest scheme. It’s completely unfair, especially to abutting residents.
