The following question was approved this morning for posting under comment. I wanted to bring it to your attention because it is the question of this type that I have received in as many weeks. Would seem to be a need out there. What do you think? – Lil

Hi Lil,
I have an off-topic question I hope you can help with: Do you know of a car service that runs between Walpole Village and the Bellows Falls train station? I’ve been told there is no long term parking near the station and I hate to bother friends for a lift every time I travel.
Thanks in advance-

There is long-term parking across the tracks from the station. One must only call the Bellows Falls police department to let them now you are leaving your car there. There are signs posted in the lot with the phone number to call.

Connecticut River Transit (or some name like that) travels across the River several times a day. We see them most often coming to Shaw’s mkt from elderly house in BF. Would that help?

Hi. There is in fact a long-term parking area opposite the tracks at the Bellows Falls station. We have used it successfully. It does require you to call the BF police department in advance to let them know and give them your license tag so you won’t get a ticket. Good luck! Bill & Michele – Walpole

Thank you, everyone! The police department parking lot is the perfect solution for me. Walpole’s wonderful community comes through again.

There was and may still be a limousine service in Bellows Falls that you could hire to transport you. (I used it in 2005.) Formo Limousine Service (802) 463-9736.
