Clarion Deadline – 10/21/16

Yes, the deadline for the November issue of the CLARION is this coming Friday, 21 October, and this is the reminder that I send out each month at that time.

In the last month many more people have signed up to receive CLARION posts, and I appreciate that since it means more of you may wish reminders for submissions, or to read your CLARION on-line when it goes to press.

Your advertisements, too, are always welcome, so send your article submissions and advertisements.

Yours, RAY, Publisher, The Walpole Clarion

The print version comes out on the first of the month, with the online version about four days earlier.

    Ray:

Chuck Shaw suggested I send this article directly to you for the 1st Congregational Church news.

Come join us on November 19th from 9 to 2 at the 1st Congregational Church on the Common in Walpole, NH for the annual Mistletoe Mart. We have been in existence for more than 60 years and stay busy all year sewing and creating items to make this sale such a huge success. We offer coffee and donuts and a delicious luncheon will be served from 11 AM to 1 PM. There is an array of craft items, plants, a pet table, candy, baked goods, pickles, jams and jellies. We have a wide selection of aprons, pot holders, table runners, doll clothes, hats and mittens. There will be plenty of white elephants, where you can usually find a room full of Christmas decorations. After browsing, and hopefully finding some great things, visit other local in town organizations, the Walpole Historical Society and St. Johns Church to see what they have to offer. Park you car when you arrive in town and stroll around our beautiful village of Walpole.

    thank you. Linda Smith
