Cynthia Reeves Presents Poetry Reading – 10/22/16

Poet, writer, professor, and current Poet Laureate of New Hampshire (2014-2019), Alice B. Fogel is the author of four poetry collections. The most recent of which is titled, Interval: Poems Based on Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” (2015), a collection which won the Nicholas Schaffner Award for Music in Literature. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including the Beloit Poetry Journal, the Boston Review, Best American Poetry, Green Mountains Review, Iowa Review, Pleiades, Ploughshares, Poetry Daily, Third Coast, and the Washington Post.
Fogle’s work has received wide acclaim. Her honors include a 1997 Literature Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New England Poetry Club’s Daniel Varoujan Award. She teaches at Landmark College in Putney, Vermont, and lives in Walpole, New Hampshire.
