Do you need firewood? Or do you have extra wood you can’t use? Come to the Walpole Transfer Station’s new Firewood Exchange. The station is collecting stove and fireplace wood, split or unsplit, green or dry, stove length or longer. If you need wood, come see what’s there and take home what you want. If you have extra that will rot or go soft before you can burn it, bring it in and help others keep warm this winter. Before leaving wood, see Paul at the transfer station for instructions.
