The Walpolean 
I was very excited to read Ray Boas’s wonderful article about the Mill Pond area in this month’s Clarion (page 14). We live in the Maplewood Circle neighborhood and our home looks down on the Mill Pond. I’ve always been curious about the history of the pond, and wondered when it fell out of use. It’s amazing how much this area of Walpole has changed over the past two centuries. Thank you, Ray, for sharing your research with us.
