RAIL TRAIL IN TRIM
The Cheshire Rail Trail in Walpole has just been brush hogged for the second time this summer. The shorter grass should make excursions along the trail more enjoyable for pedestrians, bicyclists and equestrians alike.
The Rail Trail extends for more than 7 miles in Walpole. It is accessible from Blackjack Crossing Rd., Halls Crossing Rd., River Rd., the Walpole Gateway, Route 123, and the Boat Launch WMA. There is limited parking at many of these locations. Please do not block the gates or the trail when you park.
Maps of the Rail Trail are available on the Conservation Commission website (walpoleoutdoors.org/trail-maps) and in Town Hall.
We hope many of you will go out and explore Walpole’s Rail Trail.

Thank you Wendy and Will, for all your efforts in making the rail trail another way to enjoy Walpole!
