THE MEMOIR WORKSHOPS WITH PAM BERNARD
LATE FALL SESSIONS IN WALPOLE
Award-winning author Pam Bernard announces the second round of fall sessions of her popular memoir workshops, to begin the week of November 5th, at her home in Walpole, NH.
“Memoir gets written in all sorts of ways, “ Bernard says, “but constant among them is one thing: the best approach is a mosaic method, where one drafts short, vivid pieces that are at some future time considered as part of a whole. The trick is to let the process evolve organically, and to let the storyteller emerge.”
Pam Bernard, author of four books, is a poet, painter, editor, and adjunct professor at Franklin Pierce University. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College and BA from Harvard University. Her awards include fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
