Hooper Trustees Meeting Minutes – 10/11/18

Hooper Trustees Present:   Peggy Pschirrer (Chair); Steven Dalessio; Cheryl Mayberry


CALL TO ORDER:  Mrs. Pschirrer called this Hooper Trustees meeting to order at 8:02 PM.



HOOPER TRUSTEES MEETING – October 4, 2018:  Mr. Dalessio moved to accept the Minutes of the Hooper Trustees meeting of October 4, 2018, as submitted.  Seconded by Ms. Mayberry.  With Mr. Dalessio, Ms. Mayberry and Mrs. Pschirrer in favor, the Minutes were approved.



Hooper Institute 2019 Budget:  The Hooper Trustees acknowledged receipt of the 2019 budget from the Hooper Institute Board.  Ms. Mayberry reported that at the last Hooper Institute Board meeting Mrs. Clark spoke about staying within $70,000.  After a review, the Hooper Institute Board voted to accept this proposed budget.  The Hooper Trustees began their review.  Several revisions will be taken under consideration.      


Ms. Mayberry mentioned the next Friends of the Hooper fundraiser will be on November 9th; there will be a program on the weather by a presenter coming from Mt. Washington.  Admission will be by donation.  They are also working on doing a raffle.    


Hooper Institute:  Mr. Dalessio reported the Boy Scouts did a project by clearing small trees and brush.  Sherry Aldrich is the service project coordinator.  Every rank now has to do so many hours of community service.  They plan to do the monument work on the Common this spring.  Some monuments are sinking into the ground.        



Mr. Dalessio moved to adjourn this Hooper Trustees meeting.   Seconded by Ms. Mayberry.  With Mr. Dalessio, Ms. Mayberry and Mrs. Pschirrer in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 8:27 PM.
