I almost want to say, “where did 2020 go?” Just two weeks have raced by, and in so doing that means it is time to send you notice that the closing date for the February issue of THE WALPOLE CLARION is a week away – Wednesday 22 January. Already I have a number of articles and new advertisements, but there will be room for your submissions, so get them in.
This coming issue will have articles of interest, including: an update on the Walpole Gateway; and, information on upcoming Town Meeting information so you can make an informed vote on the Broadband Bond and Charlestown’s Withdrawal from the Fall Mountain Regional School District.
If you have any questions, please contact me. And, in case I do not have another chance may I send you “volumes of love” from the CLARION for that special day in February – Yours, RAY, Publisher
Hi Lil, this Stefan Stefanko, 62 Elm, and I participate in the Walpole Library’s memoir writing group. We are hopeful you can include the following in the Clarion. Let me know if this can be included. Stefan
Memoir Writing Group at the Library
We all have important stories to share. Don’t you wish some of your family members and friends had recorded their histories so that you could re-live their experiences and pass on their stories? Your memoirs are just as important. Consider joining the Walpole memoir writing group which meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the newly renovated Community Room in the Walpole Town Library. There is no charge to attend. We are a friendly and supportive group with varying degrees of writing ability. We read our works aloud and offer gentle, helpful comments. You are welcome to stop by and share a story or just listen in to see if you might like to join our group. For more information, contact Stefan at 603-756-3290.

The Clarion is the paper monthly newsletter that is published by Ray Boas. I have forwarded your message to him so he can include it in the February edition. Many people get the two mixed up so Ray and I share the information. After all, we both have the same goal of keeping people in the community informed.
