I had a lovely email from my friend, Sally Reeves that she asked me to share. I also wanted to add that it should be noted that this year was new experience for everyone, but first time moderator, Jack Wozmak, certainly rose to the occasion. I’m sure it also made Sandy Smith even happier that it was her last after 40 years on the job! Quite a way to start and/or end a career! – Lil

Yesterday was a very exciting day—we got to vote.

This is by way of an attempt to convey my gratitude to all the wonderfully faithful Walpoleans who make the voting experiencein our town a very real pleasure.

I was struck again yesterday by the atmosphere in the Town Hall: well organized, cheerful, calm, safe, yet with a tangible buzz of the excitement for the reason we were in that place. You are an excellent team.
