From 2pm to 3pm on three upcoming Sundays – September 18th, October 2nd, and October 16th – we will be conducting a salamander study at Distant Hill Nature Trail that your kiddos can help with.
We will be walking to a survey site set up in the woods off Distant Hill Nature Trail to count salamanders and other creatures we find under the 50 cover-boards we placed there to study the population of red-backed salamanders that call Distant Hill Nature Trail home.
Bring the kids to help us count salamanders!
Join us for one, two, or all three salamander counts.
You never know what we will find!
THIS EVENT IS FREE!
All ages are welcome
No need to Register
We’ll meet at Distant Hill Gardens at 507 Match Hill Road, Walpole
