DATE CHANGE! Hooper Forest Timber Harvest Event

Because recent warmth has softened the soil, the logging machines will NOT be working in Hooper Forest today.  The public timber harvest viewing event will NOT take place this afternoon, January 30.

The Walpole Conservation Commission has rescheduled the event for Monday, February 6,  at 3 pm, to take advantage of the coming freeze-hardened ground.

As previously planned, participants should meet at the end of the maintained portion of Reservoir Road.
