Walpole Grange #125 is sponsoring a home and business patriotic decoration contest as part of the town wide celebration activities for the Fourth of July. Residents and businesses are urged to aggressively decorate their homes and buildings with U.S. flags, red white and blue colors, and patriotic symbols to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Walpole Grange is offering prizes for the most patriotic decorated homes or buildings in town. $250 for first place. $150 for second place. $100 for third place. Judging will take place from July 2nd to July 5th. No contemporary political, partisan or candidate messaging on the premises will be included in the evaluation of the displays.

Contestants can sign up to participate in this contest by sending an email with their name (personal or business) and the address of the building that will be decorated to Walpole Grange Program Director, Leroy Watson, at lawatsonjd@gmail.com by June 23rd. 

The winners will be announced on July 21st, at the annual Walpole Grange Community Awards night program at 7:00pm at the town hall.
