CALL TO ORDER: Mrs. Pschirrer called this Hooper Trustees meeting to order at 8:25 AM.
HOOPER TRUSTEES MINUTES:
HOOPER TRUSTEES MEETING – October 4, 2017: Mr. Dalessio moved to accept the Minutes of the Hooper Trustees meeting of October 4, 2017, as submitted. Seconded by Ms. Mayberry. With Mr. Dalessio, Ms. Mayberry and Mrs. Pschirrer in favor, the Minutes were approved.
Hooper Maintenance Fund: Mrs. Pschirrer had a bill from Mr. Kreissle for Hooper expenses that should be charged against the Hooper Maintenance Fund. The expenses amount to $1,434.21 for Mansion expenses; the Hooper is being charged the Primex portion for insurance for the Mansion, etc. Mr. Dalessio recommended some names on accounts should be changed for clarification. For the first time they are allocating the insurance expense the Town has been paying on behalf of the Hooper Maintenance Trust.
Mrs. Pschirrer moved to approve payment from the Hooper Maintenance Trust to reimburse the Town for $1,434.21. Seconded by Ms. Mayberry. With Mrs. Pschirrer, Ms. Mayberry and Mr. Dalessio in favor, the motion was approved.
Letter to Ron Rosko: Mr. Dalessio moved to approve and sign the letter to Mr. Ron Rosko concerning what is owed to the Hooper Trust from the Hooper Golf Club. Seconded by Ms. Mayberry. With Mr. Dalessio, Ms. Mayberry and Mrs. Pschirrer, the motion was approved.
Mansion Furniture: Mrs. Pschirrer reported the furniture has been priced. She will be meeting with Mr. Colin Sheehan tomorrow to see what furniture he is interested in. The Women of Walpole will look at the furniture on Friday, November 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and the public sale will be open on Saturday, November 11th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Ms. Sharon Boccelli will take pictures relevant to the Civil War, Frederick Hooper books, swords and maps to be put into one of the auctions. She will be advertising this widely. Bedding will be disposed of; it will be offered to the Humane Society.
Hooper Institute Meeting: Mr. Dalessio reported on some issues discussed at the Hooper Meeting he recently attended. Some maintenance work needs to be done on the Institute; the last work was done about 1995. Mrs. Clark will look into obtaining quotes and/or some gratis work. Mr. Dalessio spoke to the members present about contacting Mr. Goins to talk about the funds after they are merged and the over-all long term planning.
ADJOURNMENT: Ms. Mayberry moved to adjourn this meeting. Seconded by Mr. Dalessio. With Ms. Mayberry, Mr. Dalessio and Mrs. Pschirrer in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 8:50 AM.
